GBTRS x Danny Wimmer Presents Aftershock: Festival Immersion
If you are a woman/non-binary person interested in pursuing a career in festival production in the music industry, this opportunity is for you!
We’re excited to announce our partnership with Danny Wimmer Presents to institute our festival immersion program at Aftershock!
DWP is giving two hard-working, energetic interns an exclusive opportunity to work in two departments. This is a unique (and exciting!) experience to join the behind-the-scenes action of a week in the life of concert promoters as they prepare for a high-traffic festival.
From October 7th through October 13th, we will be selecting 2 women/non-binary people to intern in 2 festival departments and learn what it ‘s like to put on a festival.
Two (2) winners will be chosen. All participants are responsible for their own travel and lodging.

We aim to open the door for dedicated and qualified young women/non-men to gain practical experience in a live music context. This is a risk-free opportunity for people of underrepresented genders to get the chance to learn from mentors in the field. Two winners will be chosen.
Applications open Monday, September 9th and close Wednesday, September 18th at 11:59pm PST.
Winners for each department will be announced by Wednesday, September 25th.
You will get hands-on experience and be on-site from Monday October 7th to Friday October 10th. The festival takes place Friday, October 11th to Sunday, October 13th.
Keep an eye out on our socials, @GirlsBTRS, as we will be posting reminders about deadlines.
GBTRS was founded on the principle of female empowerment within the music industry. We are dedicated to helping artists and bands drive female empowerment and diversity in productive and positive ways, and promoting these initiatives throughout the culture of the music scene.
