We’re excited to announce our partnership with Danny Wimmer Presents to institute our festival immersion program at Hometown Rising!
DWP is giving ten hard-working, energetic interns an exclusive opportunity to work with a variety of departments, all equally important in putting together a large-scale festival. This is a unique (and exciting!) experience to join the behind-the-scenes action of a week in the life of concert promoters as they prepare for a first-year festival.
From September 9th through September 15th, we will be selecting 10 women/non-binary people to intern in various festival departments and learn what it ‘s like to put on a festival.
Ten (10) winners will be chosen. All participants are responsible for their own travel and lodging.

We aim to open the door for dedicated and qualified young women/non-men to gain practical experience in a live music context. This is a risk-free opportunity for people of underrepresented genders to get the chance to learn from mentors in the field. Ten winners will be chosen.
